Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel welcomed their first child into the world recently. The parents chose to name the newborn Silas Randall Timberlake, People notes. The pop star dropped a hint  about the new addition in an Instagram post in January, prior to going public with the information.

"Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I'm getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN'T WAIT," he wrote.

The singer took home the iHeartRadio Innovator Award recently, and he mentioned his wife in his acceptance speech. "I want to thank my best friend, my favorite collaborator, my wife Jessica at home," he said. "Honey, I can't wait to see our greatest creation yet. Don't worry, daddy's heading home right now to innovate by learning how to change a poopy diaper and get my swaddle on."

The newest Timberlake's arrival was confirmed by reps for the couple.

Timberlake has a clear schedule following an extremely long tour that went from 2013 to this year. The singer was promoting both of his The 20/20 Experience albums.

The entertainer's last film role was in 2013's Runner Runner, however, JT will be star in the upcoming Neil Bogart biopic titled Spinning Gold. The film is listed in the "pre-production" stage on IMDb, so he'll have plenty of time to be with his family.

Biel joined the cast of FOX's New Girl in 2014 and, more recently, starred in the romantic comedy, Accidental Love, which came out in February. She will also appear in Bleeding Heart, which is completed, and The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, which is in "post-production."

She'll have to juggle mommy duties while working on the Blunderer, a thriller starring Patrick Wilson and Vincent Kartheiser. Biel will also lend her voice to the animated feature, Spark.
