A month after Justin Bieber stood onstage at his Comedy Central Roast and promised to turn things around, he is in the headlines again. Security at Coachella over the weekend reportedly put the Biebs in a chokehold and threw him out of the festival. According to TMZ, the celebrity and his crew tried to gain access to a VIP area during Drake's set.

Biebs apparently had the proper wristbands to get into the VIP area, but security said it was at capacity. The singer tried to reason with security, saying he would never be able to watch the set in the pit due to fans. He also claimed that Drake invited him personally to watch the show.

A staff member came to Bieber's aid and said they would take his group to the artist area to watch the performance. One security member must not have heard the plan because he grabbed the singer and put him in a chokehold as the group started to walk past. Bieber's personal security got involved and everyone was asked to leave.

Bieber and his crew reportedly left voluntarily, but representatives for the singer said they are considering taking legal action over the incident. TMZ obtained some footage of the whole ordeal, which you can view below.

By all accounts, the Biebs missed a superb performance by Drake at the festival. The rapper even managed to score a guest appearance by Madonna for his set. Madge sang three of her own songs before making out with Drizzy and leaving the stage.

If Bieber behaves himself, he will have another chance to catch Drake's set this weekend for the second round of Coachella.
