According to Bruce Jenner, everything in his life up until this point has helped to prepare him for what comes next and that would be completing his transition into a woman's body. A second promo clip for Jenner's exclusive two-hour interview with Diane Sawyer has been released and in it the Olympic champion seems to be ready for his radical lifestyle change. The interview is scheduled to air on April 24, a few weeks ahead of Jenner's gender reassignment surgery.

According to a report by Radar Online, he has spent the last few years taking all the necessary steps to bring him to this final step and Jenner's surgery has been scheduled for either late May or early June. The sex change procedure itself is extremely intensive and is said to last anywhere from six to eight before the physical transformation is complete.

Jenner reportedly wanted his interview to air before he takes that final step in the hopes that he can help to bring more understanding towards the transgender community and provide a positive example instead of continuing to be tabloid fodder. Another major change has been Jenner's clear cut steps away from the Kardashian money-making machine. While he was tangled in ex-wife Kris Jenner's fame hungry world for years, he no longer wants that sort of lifestyle. Hiring his own publicist to help get him through this controversial time has likely been a step in the right direction
