It's hard to go online or watch television without hearing about Justin Bieber these past few weeks. He hasn't been in the news for anything too favorable or music related. It's been more about drag races, drugs and the like. But now Bieber is in the news for something a little less scandalous. The music superstar plans to get baptized, according to Gossip Cop. (And for the record, they rated the truth factor on this story a 10 out of 10.)

Bieber has been spotted attending services at Hillsong Church in prior months, as far back as last fall. The ceremony would be part of Hillsong, and Bieber was reportedly scoping out potential locations that have a private pool for the baptism.

Pastors Brian Houston and Bobbie Houston head up the Christian-faith church, based out of Australia. There are locations in New York City and the website declares its beliefs: "We believe that the Bible is God's Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives."

News.com.au reported that Bieber had tweeted about Pastor Carl Lentz last September, saying "Amazing sermon at church this morning. Love you man. I broke down today."

Bieber recently tweeted a vague sentiment:

Meanwhile, CNN reports that Bieber's former bodyguard, Moshe Benabou, dropped lawsuit charges that had once stated: "As part of this tirade, Justin Bieber repeatedly punched Moshe Benabou in the chest and upper body area. Mr. Benabou did not retaliate or attempt to protect himself out of his concerns for Justin Bieber's physical well-being."

Do you think this is a sign that Bieber is turning a corner, and media coverage will take a turn for the positive? Who knows, maybe Music Times will be reporting on music next time a Bieber story runs. It will be a refreshing change of pace for his devoted fans who care about his well-being, and his music career.
