Bonnaroo brought out one of the best collaborations in music from 2015 thus far as Kendrick Lamar and Chance The Rapper joined Earth, Wind & Fire onstage during the funk legends' set.

One of the benefits to being an iconic act is that you can persuade modern stars to collaborate. The appearance was apparently unplanned, as the band noticed both emcees were at the side of the stage, checking out the set. The group invited them onstage to freestyle with them and the pair obliged. Essentially two of the hottest young names in hip-hop. You check out the full video of the performance below (literally...the entire Earth, Wind & Fire performance...fast forward to 1:15 to see the rappers in action with them...the duo stay onstage for about seven minutes from there).

Bonnaroo doesn't usually pack surprise appearances as the more urban-located Coachella or Lollapalooza festivals, so it has does its best to encourage collaborations from the acts in attendance, including its renowned "Superjam."
