Kanye West is currently dominating headlines for his performance at Glastonbury, having gone about it just about as one might expect from Yeezy, making claims like he "is the greatest living rock star on the planet" (individuals like Robert Plant and Paul McCartney might disagree). However, off the stage, Kanye is working fastidiously on new music and there could be a whole batch of tracks coming with Atlanta rapper Young Thug. According to a new cover story in Rolling Out, Thugger reveals that he and West might have a new album in the works together and that the SWISH rapper calls the Slime Season rapper Bob Marley.

Young Thug went on road with Travi$ Scott this spring on the "Rodeo Tour" and Kanye came out to the L.A. show to support because of his close relationship with Scott.

They had known each other for a little while before that night in L.A., but that was when the idea for an album was spawned.

Thugger sets the scene: He had a Beats Pill and was like, 'I wanna hear all of your music in the world that's not out.' So I was letting him hear all the music. Then he said I was like Bob Marley and he wanted to do an album with me. I was like, 'Let's roll!' He's a fan."

Thugger emphasizes how deep their relationship goes and the generosity of Kanye.

"Kanye is like my brother, but he's a real fan. He bought me some Yeezys and went on eBay to get them for me. That's motivation."

Whether or not this album is ever made remains to be seen. Thugger has his next project Slime Season arriving on July 4 and Kanye is still finishing up his upcoming album tentatively titled SWISH, which does not have a release date yet.
