Kanye West is bringing his current tour to Australia this May, and we've already got the ridiculous nickname drawn up: "Yeezustalia" (our first idea: "Kanyegaroo"). But in all serious, the emcee will take his "Yeezus" tour out of North America for the first time, playing five shows in the land down under.

The leg will consist of five dates played between May 2 and May 10. West's management probably put some logistics into play when drawing up plans for the tour, after all, it's tougher to reschedule dates when they're on the other side of the world. The first leg of the North American tour dealt with scheduling issues as crews were unable to ship the pieces of West's monumental stage show quickly enough to keep up with the performer's calendar. We're curious ourselves about the cost of shipping things like the onstage mountain and massive LED screen overseas.

The first few dates on the 2014 leg of the 'Yeezus' tour haven't been selling so well, but that shouldn't be an issue in Australia. Although West last appeared in the country as part of the Big Day Out Festival during 2012, there should still be enough interest to sell out five gigs. It's his first time in the country since releasing the album 'Yeezus," which went to no. 1 in Australia.

Pusha T will serve as opener for the tour. All dates are listed below, for our Australian readers.

05/02: Perth @ Perth Arena

05/04: Adelaide @ Adelaide Entertainment Centre

05 /06: Melbourne @ Rod Laver Arena

05/09: Brisbane @ Brisbane Entertainment Centre
