Taylor Swift is not only one of the biggest (if not the No. 1) name in pop music, but she's also a fan of her newly chosen genre. In the continuing series of inviting her pop contemporaries on stage during her 1989 Tour, last night (July 14) during her second night at Washington, D.C.'s National Park, the "Bad Blood" singer welcomed Jason Derulo to duet on her favorite summer jam, "Want to Want Me."

In fan-captured video (via Entertainment Weekly), Swift introduced Derulo by saying that "I listen to that song every day. I wonder if the artist who sings that song would be willing to sing it with me in Washinton, D.C." And, of course, Derulo obliged, appearing on stage to tackle his own summer hit alongside Swift's slew of chart-toppers.

The bulk of the performance went to Derulo, who carried the verses as Swift joined him singing backup. The two danced together, having what appears to be a joyful time. So joyful, in fact, that Derulo had to rid himself of his shirt.

After the show, Swift gushed about performing with Derulo on her Instagram, saying that she not only loves "Want to Want Me" but his new Everything Is 4 single "Cheyenne" as well.

I got to sing my fav summer JAM 'Want To Want Me' with @jasonderulo in DC- I'm also loving his new single 'Cheyenne'!

Derulo is just the latest singer that Swift has welcomed on stage during the North American leg of her massive stadium tour. She's also been joined by Lorde, Nick Jonas and The Weeknd. When she's not singing with her friends, everyone from the U.S. Women's Soccer Team to Karlie Kloss to Lena Dunham have also joined Swift on stage.
