Young Thug's "Lifestyle" may be changing soon, based on crazy charges that he and Birdman may have been behind a murder attempt on Lil Wayne. That hasn't seemed to hurt his flow however, as the performer released two new Mike WiLL Made It-produced tracks: "Pacifier," earlier this week, and now "I Need Chickens."

The song was released on Soundcloud by Mike Will, as well as its official single art. The photo features Thug wearing a typically-erratic long-sleeve tee, staring at the camera with eyes wide-open and-most notably-both middle fingers giving viewers the business while going straight up his nostrils.

If that picture and the title of the song aren't hints enough, it's a wacky track.

Thug repeatedly notes that "I need chickens," punctuated by the rapper cooing as if he were a hen. We went to the most noted of hip-hop lingo translations—Urban Dictionary—to figure out just what the heck is going on here.

According to Urban: "A kilogram of cocaine," simply, before moving forward with the history of the term. "Dealers started calling kilos 'birds,' which then evolved into 'chicken.'" A less likely option, considering the references to gunplay throughout the song, is the possibility that Thug is using the ornithological term as in "chickens is b*tches."

Check out the track below and keep an ear out for continued releases from Birdman's new favorite figure at Cash Money.
