Your jewelry box is about to get a little prismatic. "Dark Horse" singer Katy Perry is about to launch a jewelry line at mall retailer Claire's, the chain announced yesterday (Feb. 24).

Perry's jewelry line will be Claire's first global line, launching in more than 3000 stores across the world on a yet-to-be-announced date, though the line is rumored to coincide with her Prismatic World Tour. According to Yahoo, the jewelry will be designed by Perry herself and will include limited edition lines, seasonal novelty items and other collectables.

More excitingly for Katy Cats, the jewelry line will be inspired by Perry's music, so fans may be able to wear ice cream cones and gummy bears a la "California Gurls" or regal golden crowns as seen in "Unconditionally" sometime soon, a true treat for Perry's dedicated fanbase.

Claire's decision to team up with Perry came after extensive market research, which proved that "she's the superstar that resonates globally," according to Claire's CEO Jim Fielding.

This isn't Perry's first foray into the fashion world. Last year, she was announced as a new spokesmodel for CoverGirl.

Though Perry is the first major star to get a deal with Claire's, she isn't the only singer with ties to the store. Earlier this month, her BFF Rihanna told Vogue (via People) that she still only wears fake jewelry, most of which she gets from Claire's.

So, maybe she'll be designing a line next!
