Could Zayn Malik's debut solo album have a major feature from Tyler, The Creator? If the two musicians' Twitters have anything to say about it, the answer is a resounding yes.

Tyler, the Creator first called out the former One Direction singer on Twitter, saying that they should work together. Citing his "beautiful instrumentals" and Malik's silken voice, the Odd Future leader said that the two should work together for an album deep cut.

At first, it seemed as though Malik was going to dismiss Tyler, The Creator's pitch, but soon enough the recent RCA signee called him back out on the social media site, saying that a potential collaboration "sounds sick."

Word on when this collaboration will come to light, and if it will even totally happen, remains unclear. But the idea of a Malik/Tyler collaboration is almost a little too bizarre to not need right now.

Malik is no stranger to the world of rap these days; the former boy bander cover Rae Sremmurd's "No Type," giving the song a smooth R&B makeover. Malik also shouted out his love for N.W.A. and the rap collective's new biopic Straight Outta Compton on Twitter.

A timeline for Malik's upcoming solo album has yet to be revealed, though he did promise that he had "something exciting coming soon."
