Pharrell Williams has a lot to be "Happy" about today (March 3). He has the No. 1 single in the US, gave the Oscars an extra dose of pep last night with an energetic performance, his new album G I R L dropped at midnight and now for yet another week "Happy" topped the UK Singles Charts, surpassing one million copies sold in that country.

According to Official Charts Company, "Happy" has taken the top spot in the UK for a third time this week, making him only the third act in history to do so with the same song and the first singer to do so in 57 years.

The other musicians who peaked at No. 1 three times non-consecutively? Frankie Lane in 1953 ("I Believe") and Guy Mitchell in 1957 ("Singing The Blues").

Adding to the success of "Happy" in the UK, Pharrell's peppy single also surpassed one million copies sold.

Combined with his smash collaborative hits "Get Lucky" and "Blurred Lines," Pharrell's musical reign makes him the second act to have three songs surpass one million copies sold in one year. The other act? The Beatles.

Though Pharrell's feat is by far the most impressive this week in the UK, he's not the only person charting high overseas. Sam Smith's "Money On My Mind," which topped the charts last week, slipped to No. 2, followed by "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit (feat. Jess Glynne), Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" at No. 4 and A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera's "Say Something" at No. 5.

Tiesto's "Red Lights," Foxes' "Let Go For Tonight," John Legend's "All of Me" and Paloma Faith's "Can't Rely On You" also all entered the top 10 in the UK.

This marks the first top 10 hit for Foxes.
