Zayn Malik is continuing to break away from his One Direction past, and the new RCA Records signee finally has landed his first solo magazine cover. Along with seven other celebrities, the "No Type" singer appears on the September 2015 cover of Interview magazine with a shirtless Instagram selfie.

Malik is starring on one of eight covers of Interview's #Me issue, which plays off of founder Andy Warhol's quote that everyone will be famous for 15 minutes and today's Internet culture.

Malik's cover seems to feature an intimate moment. The 22-year-old is lying in bed surrounded by fluffy pillows, shirtless and showing off his tattoos. The lighting leaves a little to be desired (half his face is covered in shadows), but his face says "come here" in a way that fans will find irresistible.

Malik is one of eight celebrities to don the cover of Interview this month in alternate covers. Madonna, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian West, Victoria Beckham and Mert Alas also got their own covers.

The September issue of Interview marks Malik's first solo magazine cover after he left One Direction in March of this year.

It's been a big few months of changes for Malik, who is working on his debut solo album with RCA Records. In addition to parting ways with 1D, he also broke off his engagement to Little Mix's Perrie Edwards.
