This year's controversial MTV VMAs host Miley Cyrus is reportedly "in talks" to perform at Glastonbury Festival 2016. The pop singer has kept busy as of late, preparing for and executing her VMA hosting duties, dealing with shade thrown by Nicki Minaj and ultimately, unveiling her latest trippy album, Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz for free online. And it seems to have no end in sight.

The Sun reports that there are "initial plans, which are in very early stages" for the "Dooo It!" singer to perform at Worthy Farm next year.

"Miley's been on the Eavis radar for a while," a source reportedly told the newspaper. "She's outrageous and there was interest in previous years, around the time of her Bangerz Tour last year and when her godmother Dolly Parton played the Pyramid [Stage]." However, press representatives from the festival refused to divulge any further details on the reports.

One would think that after all of the drama surrounding Kanye West's Glastonbury gig that the festival would shy away from controversial acts but it seems festival organizer Michael Eavis is looking to take an even more "outrageous" route. Currently, Cyrus isn't even close to topping the list of favorites to play the Pyramid Stage. Instead, all eyes are on the Foo Fighters who were forced to cancel their 2015 festival headlining slot due to Dave Grohl's broken leg. The group will make their highly anticipated return alongside Adele, Blur, Coldplay, AC/DC and more, Mirror reports.

Let's not cast the 22-year-old singer aside just yet. Cyrus dropped her 23-track album Dead Petz in which she collaborated with Wayne Coyne and the Flaming Lips, Glastonbury veterans. Perhaps her buddies in the Lips could pull a few strings...
