Selena Gomez's ex, Justin Bieber, appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show this Tuesday (Sept. 15) to talk about both his single status and that infamous butt Instagram pic. He had already spoken to the Australian radio show, The Kyle and Jackie O Show, earlier this month and admitted then that while he was still hurting from the Gomez split, he hadn't given up on girls.

Bieber has sure changed his tune since then and although he may not be ready for a relationship, he did tell the host that he is "single and ready to mingle." He also confirmed that he is in fact not dating his co-star, Xenia Dali, from his latest music video, "What Do You Mean?" Tween fans worldwide likely rejoiced at that news.

Ellen DeGeneres was ready with a series of sarcastic questions aimed to figure out who "What Do You Mean?" is really about, as most suspect it's about his ex, Selena Gomez. Supposedly, her name even appears in graffiti on the wall in the music video but Ellen wasn't successful in getting him to open up. He pretended not to understand her question and moved on to the idea of women in general.

Entertainment Weekly reported that he said, "I wrote the song for women in general," thwarting an attempt at eliciting a Gomez comment. "I just never know what women are thinking 'cause they say one thing and mean another thing and then they're like do this and don't do this and then I'm like... what do you mean?"

Billboard noted that he also discussed his frequent nude status in addition to the inappropriate Instagram butt pic that had everyone abuzz.

On just who took that photo, Biebs said, "It was a friend of mine, and then one of my friends hit me who has a kid and was like 'yo my daughter just saw this, she just came to me and said 'I saw Justin's butt.' So I felt bad about it and then I just took it down."
