Young Thug's label status was pretty much up in the air until a few days ago. With rumors of the Atlanta rapper being signed to one label while still being signed to another, things were getting hectic. This past weekend at SXSW, Fader caught up with Thugga and asked the million dollar question.

Here's what he had to say of his current label status:

"Rich Gang to the death," referring to Birdman's Cash Money stable. "Big shout out to Guwop. He was a big help to my career. But, I'm with Rich Gang and that's how we gone turn it up...[Birdman] is like a real father figure."

Back in 2013, Thugga signed to Gucci Mane's 1017 Bricksquad but lately he's been claiming that he's a free agent looking for a new home.

In January, YT announced he would be signing to Future's Freebandz label. Boss man Gucci ordered websites to take down the story and the information turned out to be false.

Just a short month later, Young Thug told Complex that he signed to Cash Money.

Birdman's rep cleared the air soon after saying no paperwork had been completed.

The "Stoner" rapper also briefly talked about his February arrest. He was charged in Atlanta with possession of a controlled substance, driving without seat belt, reckless conduct and reckless driving.

"I turned at the light and the next thing you know 50 cops was behind me saying I...donuts or some shit. My rims like $7,500 a rim. Why would I hit donuts?," Young Thug explained inquisitively.
