Kanye West may not have done anything extremely shocking at his first 2015 iHeartRadio Music Festival performance (Sept. 18) but he continued his bid for president when he performed at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena. Kanye West for President? It seems at least mildly likely.

His performance at the MGM Grand started with an enthusiastic intro from Jared Leto, who called the rapper a "Visionary, artist, madman, musician, producer, provocateur, director, husband, father and just maybe the future president of the United States of America," as a super slow version of his arguably biggest hit "Stronger" began to play and West hit the stage.

West played in to the rumors that he's planning a presidential bid and switched the lyrics in the middle of his collaboration with Paul McCartney "Only One" and snuck a hint about his presidential campaign plans by changing the lyrics to ("You'll be the man you always knew you could be - 2020").

At the 2015 VMAs Kanye West gave an honest and enthusiastic speech and announced that he planned on running for office in the election five years from now.

"I don't know what I'm gonna lose after this. It don't matter, though; it's not about me. It's about ideas. People with ideas. People who believe in truth," he said. "And yes, as you probably could've guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president."

His public statement followed thoughts on the infamous 2009 incident where he snatched the microphone from pop-star and VMA award winner Taylor Swift, interrupting her speech and if it would have been better not to do so. The audience seemed uncertain if West was serious or not and he told them, "Yes, I rolled up a little something. I knocked the edge off."
