Ed Sheeran is a people pleaser. Though he's had a massive 2014 and 2015, following the release of his sophomore album x, the "Photograph" singer has seemingly been everywhere but he's about to take a break. On Friday (Sept. 25), his new collaboration with Rudimental, "Lay It All On Me," will arrive, and after that he's done.

Sheeran, who has not only dropped his own music but also collaborated with the likes of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Hoodie Allen and The Weeknd in the last two years, announced on Twitter that he's going away for a while.

Saying it's good for both his fans (because new music tonight!) and his haters (no new music for a while!), the always affable 24-year-old singer-songwriter noted that he always aims to please.

(This also seems to indicate that Sheeran may potentially be working on his third studio album.)

Sheeran's Rudimental collaboration, "Lay It All On Me," will be released at midnight tonight. The song arrives ahead of Rudimental's new album We the Generation. It should come as no real surprise that the two have a song out together; it's not the very first time that Sheeran has collaborated with the EDM performer. The two also teamed up earlier this year for a remix of Sheeran's x single "Bloodstream."
