Young Thug and Lil Wayne's love-hate relationship has seemingly made its way back to the forefront of hip-hop beefs. During a recent interview with GQ, the "Good Time" rapper shared his belief that Wayne wants to be him and admitted to wearing women's clothing.

“I feel like if he had the chance to be himself or me, he’d be me," Thug told the outlet. "If I had the chance to be myself or him, I’d be him. That man is the greatest. If we had the biggest problem in the world, I’d still say he’s the best rapper in the f*cking world. Everybody knows nobody raps better than the f*cking boss.”

The two rappers have been at odds for some time now with things taking an awkward turn last September when Thug announced that wanted to continue Weezy's 'Tha Carter' series after it was reported that Tha Carter V would be his last solo album. Thug then intended to release his Slime Season mixtape on the same day as Wayne's Free Weezy Album.

This summer, reports began to surface that Thug and Birdman conspired to kill Lil Wayne in a Bloods-related tour bus shooting back in April.

Interestingly, Slime Season opens with the previously released Weezy collab, "Take Kare." The song first made its way to the Internet last October.

Elsewhere during the interview, Thug went in depth about his controversial fashion sense and opened up about wearing women’s clothes, something which began when he was just a pre-teen.

“When I was 12 or some shit, I started gambling, getting my own money. My dad wouldn’t buy me tight pants. I had to get my own money to buy them…women’s clothes are [slimmer] than men’s clothes. The jeans I got on right now, they’re women’s jeans. But they fit how they’re supposed to fit. Like a rock star. The only thing I probably have in men’s is, like, briefs. T-shirts. Ninety percent of my clothes are women’s.”
