Elton John has announced that he will be releasing a brand new album early next year titled Wonderful Crazy Night, which will include cheerful lead single "Looking Up," which debuted alongside the album announcement.

According to Rolling Stone, the rocking song is one of 10 tracks that will appear on the upcoming LP, which was produced by T-Bone Burnett and written by Bernie Taupin. The record, which was recorded at Village Studio in Los Angeles, will serve as the singer's 33rd consecutive studio album, an impressive feat.

Burnett and Elton had previously worked together on 2013's The Diving Board, as reported by Entertainment Weekly. Additionally, the record's guitarist Davey Johnstone has been with John's band since 1972 and drummer Nigel Olsson returns after not working with John since the 1960s. Percussionist Ray Cooper (who is referred to as a "time-honored associate" in a press release), bassist Matt Bissonette, keyboard player Kim Bullard and percussionist John Mahon also make appearances on the new record. That's a lot of drums.

Wonderful Crazy Night is due out on Feb. 5 via Virgin/EMI Records. You can currently pre-order the record via iTunes and get an instant download of the new single.
