New parents Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel joked about parenting woes at GLSEN's (the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) Respect Awards ceremony at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles this past Friday night (Oct. 23). The two are parents of first child Silas, who is now six months old, and were accepting an Inspiration Award at the event.

Billboard reported that the event was certainly filled with big names and the honorary co-chairs included Simon Halls and Matt Bomer, Bob Greenblatt, Jeffrey and Marilyn Katzenberg, Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak as well as Julia Roberts and her spouse, Danny Moder. The official co-chairs were Jim Fielding, Dave Karger and Chip Sullivan.

According to People Magazine, the two were very touchy with one another throughout the awards ceremony and Timberlake sincerely thanked GLSEN "For leading the way to make our schools safe, welcoming and yes, inspiring places for all of our children." The organization seeks to make US schools more LGBTQ friendly for school-age children and promote both tolerance and respect for students.

During his speech, Timberlake joked with the crowd, saying, "And also, thank you for allowing mommy and daddy to have a rare date night out together with other adults. Honey, look around. This is what adults look like... they don't smell like dirty diapers," as well as jesting that "Mommy's looking hot and it's date night."

The duo then stepped out in matching baseball hats inscribed with "RESPECT" across them as Timberlake sarcastically said that "We look like we're in another boy band." We can only assume that the two went home and enjoyed the rest of their date night following the event. Reportedly their romance is still going strong since the two married in a gorgeous ceremony back in 2012.
