The Rolling Stones were forced to cancel several dates on their Australian tour last month when vocalist Mick Jagger's longtime partner, L'Wren Scott, was found dead in her New York City apartment. The band has recently given signal that it will continue with its European tour beginning in May, and confirmed Thursday that the group had found a time to reschedule the cancelled Australian tour dates.

The new dates are confirmed within the range of October 25 and November 22, but the exact details for each gig haven't been made official yet. Statements suggesting the band would return had been made earlier by Michael Gudinski, the promoter for Frontier Touring that was presenting the Stones' trip across the continent, but Thursday's statement finally confirms the fact. Gudinski had suggested that original tickets would be honored at the new dates, but that can only be speculated thus far. Although it's unlikely that the venues from the original gigs would change, it remains a possibility.
