Eminem has entered the video game business with a new venture, Shady Wars, which is now available on the iTunes app store and Google Play. According to MLive, the games description reads, "Play along to some of Eminem's greatest hits in this arcade style game developed in partnership with Shady Records. Reach Rap God status by avoiding falling bombs and chainsaws, while challenging your friends and collecting badges along the way."

The game sounds both entertaining and true to the style and aesthetic of the self-proclaimed "Rap God." Like his comic-book persona in the past or his penchant for video-game soundtracks, this most recent venture will both expand the Slim Shady Empire, and defines his legacy and influence to legions of new fans.

Eminem teased the video game in a twitter post on Wednesday, November 4th.

His twitter tease included lyrics from his famed song with The Notorious B.I.G., "Dead Wrong."

The game is free and can be downloaded on a variety of devices, including your computer! In order to play Shady Wars you can download the game here. So far, the game has gotten positive reviews, and will likely catapult to the top of the downloads list. The app was created by Music Powered Games, and is available in the ITunes app store and Google Play for free.

Eminem's foray into the video game business mirrors that of Nicki Minaj, whose game is in development, and other rappers like Slim Thug.

According to Gamezebo, "Perhaps surprisingly, the game seems to be an authentic pairing of famous personality branding with gameplay. Unlike many other celebrity games which simply reskin an existing engine to shoehorn in a celebrity, Shady Wars actually unites music, image and character in a way that does seem to fit Eminem's brand."
