For their fourth studio album, Cage the Elephant have teamed up with producer and fellow musician, The Black Key's guitarist/vocalist Dan Auerbach. In a new album trailer for Tell Me I'm Pretty, the clip gives viewers insight on the recording process between Matthew Schultz, Brad Schultz, Jared Champion, Daniel Tichenor and their friend and mentor, Auerbach.

The behind-the-scenes clip boasts footage from Nashvilles' Easy Eye sound studio recording session. Front man Matt Schultz further details the recording process in the clip below, explaining "A lot of the songs on the record were (recorded in) one take."

"That was the one of the great things about working Dan, as a producer he's really good at keeping you from overthinking things," he added.

The singer further credited Auerbach for having "an incredible knowledge of all sorts of obscure music" that the "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" musicians never heard prior. The Arcs and Black Keys member definitely left his mark on Tell Me I'm Pretty, most blatantly on the band's latest Outkast-leaning single, "Mess Around."

"Working with Dan was the perfect balance to our approach," the frontman told Billboard. "I think we both had similar interests in song writing and vision for the outcome but different starting places... The end result was a highly creative atmosphere that didn't lack challenge."

The Black Keys member has previously displayed his producing talents on Ray LaMontagne's Supernova and Lana Del Rey's Ultraviolence.

Cage the Elephant have rolled out alternative hit after hit with chart toppers "Back Against the Wall," "Cigarette Daydreams," "Come a Little Closer," "In One Ear" and "Shake Me Down." Tell Me I'm Pretty, follow-up to 2013's Grammy-nominated Melophobia, will hit the public on Dec. 18.

Cage the Elephant will also take on CBS Radio's third annual The Night Before gig alongside Metallica, just one night before the Superbowl on Feb. 6, 2016.
