When thinking of international matchups, one can't help but figure the club-level teammates that now have to go head-to-head for their respective countries. When manager Roy Hodgson's English side face Vicente del Bosque's Spanish national team, a number of Premier League, La Liga and other league teammates are pitted against one another, as pointed out by The Daily Mail.

For instance, Gary Cahill will have to defend against his rambunctious Chelsea FC teammate Diego Costa today, which should be interesting considering Costa's aggression up front.

"As far as his character is concerned he has to smooth things out regarding his behavior," del Bosque said of Costa. "But we don't want to change Costa, for that reason we called him up in the first place. All our players play on a regular basis in the Premier League and all have experience playing against Costa. He is a very combative player but we have combative center halves. I wouldn't dream of suggesting he's going to try underhand methods. If he does we're just going to have to deal with it and hope the referee deals with it."
