The Foo Fighters have cancelled their last tour dates in Europe after the Paris attacks that occurred this past Friday (Nov. 13). An estimated 118 show-goers were shot dead at an Eagles of Death Metals concert at the Bataclan. In total, a reported 352 are wounded throughout the city. The French president, Francois Hollande, declared the shootings that were orchestrated by eight ISIS terrorists "an act of war" and further called for "a state of emergency" in Paris.

The Foo Fighters issued an official statement on their Facebook page this morning that read, "It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of the tour. In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can't continue right now." The band further said, "There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it s*cks. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one."

U2 and Coldplay have also cancelled their concerts in the wake of the tragedy, which consisted of six total attacks on the French capital. Coldplay was scheduled to perform a Tidal live-stream show and U2 was scheduled to perform at HBO live concert in the capital. In the Bataclan concert hall during the show, gunmen grabbed hostages and fired on the crowd. The band members were immediately escorted out by security and are safe according to the Los Angeles Times. The estimated casualties from the attacks vary between 127 to 129 total deaths in France.
