ABC's The Muppets is no stranger to big celebrity guests, thanks to Miss Piggy's late-night talk show Up Late with Miss Piggy. But, things will get turnt up for the impending "Gone, Gone, Gonzo" episode, slated to air on Dec. 1. Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and The Night Before actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt co-star on the new show.

As Variety reports, Grohl is not a stranger when it comes to the Muppets--the front man played "Animool" in a band called the Moopets in the 2011 film, The Muppets. This time around, the Sonic Highways singer will face Muppet percussionist, Animal, head to head in a drum-off. Fans will get the chance to see Grohl man the drum kit once more, a place that Nirvana fans knows he feels at home.

The Gordon-Levitt, Grohl centered episode will mark the first time the revival series introduces the Great Gonzo, Gonzo's reckless and wild alter ego. The two celebrities will play themselves as Gordon-Levitt fins himself in the midst of a poker game night with Pepe, Scooter and the "cool" gang. According to Entertainment Weekly, JGL will have to get used to spending time with puppets. He will produce as well as star in the upcoming film, Fraggle Rock.

As of late, Foo Fighters wrapped up their string of North American tour dates, bringing loads of star power to their electrifying stage such as Rush's Geddy Lee, Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, Jewel, Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith and Queen's Roger Taylor.

In the wake of the danger in Paris the Foo Fighters along with Prince and other musical acts, have cancelled their European tours. "It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour," the band said in a statement. "In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can't continue right now," Foo Fighters added.
