We previously reported that a number of injured stars of both Barcelona FC and Real Madrid had this week started practicing with their respective teams ahead of this weekend's all-important "El Clasico" game, despite injuries holding them back previously. Clearly, the media's attention is mainly on Lionel Messi, who has been in full training this week with Barcelona, leading many to believe he's returning to play in the 2015 El Clasico, against Cristiano Ronaldo and Madrid. While this news has not been confirmed, Adidas has made the bold announcement that the 28-year-old footballer will debut the newest version of his signature boots, the Messi15, this weekend during the game! "Lionel Messi, the best player on the planet, is ready to crown his sensational year after returning from an injury that has kept him off the pitch for a couple of months. In the Clasico, against Real Madrid on Saturday, Leo will debut the most aggressive version of the Messi15 boots yet," the sportswear company announced, according to Sport (via Bleacher Report / Total Football Madness).

Again, neither Messi nor Barcelona have confirmed the player's availability this weekend, but considering his biggest sponsor has such faith in the goal-scorer playing, we could put some bets on it!

Meanwhile, the media is saying that Messi's teammate, Luis Suarez, is "positive" we'll see the new boots in action this weekend, but the Uruguay native also pointed out that neither Messi nor Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos, who suffered a shoulder injury, would be targeted in El Clasico if they do end up playing.

"I am not going to go looking for [Ramos'] shoulder, in the same way nobody is going to look for Messi's knee. We are fellow football players and we do not want to hurt anyone," he said, according to Sky Sports.
