The commencement of the 2016 North American festival season is fast approaching and with that come the seemingly endless lineup announcements as every festival tries to one up each other in the hopes of taking your precious money. Buku Music & Arts Festival in New Orleans has announced its 2016 lineup with names like Kid Cudi, Future, Fetty Wap, CHVRCHES, Pretty Lights, Nero and Miike Snow all among the various headliners.

The two-day festival didn't blow their entire budget on a few massive A+ list superstars like the Kanye West's, Calvin Harris' or Drake's of the world, or pricey legacy acts, instead filling it out with A and B list acts who will put on a show and still draw a good audience.

There is a strong contingent of quality of electronic music at Buku with names like Above & Beyond, Baauer, Griz, Tchami, Feed Me, What So Not, Art Department and Julio Bashmore all getting set to perform. There will be a few special scheduled back-to-back sets from Cashmere Cat and the mysterious Trippy Turtle, J. Phlip and Kill Frenzy and Mija with Anna Lunoe.

Stepping outside of dance music, there will be a unique, genre-melding back-to-back-back set from Mystikal, Juvenile and Fly Boy Keno. Heading into more straight ahead hip-hop, Buku has tabbed rappers like Earl Sweatshirt, Casey Veggies, Post Malone, A$AP Ferg and the aforementioned headliners in Fetty Wap, Kid Cudi and Future to all perform.

A few crossover acts like Crystal Castles, BORNS and AlunaGeorge will add some diversity to the lineup.

Buku Music & Arts Festival will take place on March 11-12 in New Orleans. General Admission tickets go on sale this Thursday, Dec. 3 at 11 a.m., so head to the festival's website to pick up yours. Check out the complete lineup here.
