The semi-finalists on The Voice got shown how it's done on Monday night (Dec. 7). During the top nine performances, Ellie Goulding returned to the show to perform her latest single "On My Mind."
The 28-year-old pop star moved away from the craziness of the "On My Mind" music video and kept her performance relatively simple. Goulding was dressed quite conservatively in a sparkling grey turtleneck sweater with a black suit jacket and pants. Though she was dressed like she was ready for a day at the office, Goulding brought plenty of energy and bite to the Delirium track, showing the top nine contestants just how a real pop star performs.
Goulding is a noted friend of The Voice. She previously appeared on the eighth season, helping Adam Levine coach his team during the battle rounds.
Her new album Delirium is out now. "On My Mind" was the lead single from the album and was released in September.
