It seems that every week Rihanna is rumored to be dropping her new album Anti. There's just one problem: according to Sia, the album is not done yet.
Rihanna has done everything to make the world think her latest record will be here sooner than later, releasing plans for an upcoming world tour and an interactive experience ANTIdiaRY recently. However, it doesn't seem that anyone will be blessed with a new Rihanna record before the end of the year. Despite teasing her latest record over the past 19 months and still there is no set release date.
We finally have a bit of information on her newest album and it isn't exactly the best news for Rihanna fans. Unreality TV is reporting that Sia spoke to BBC Radio 2 about Rihanna's upcoming record, and there's still work left to do.
"She came over to my house for the first time the other night for the first time. I had met her very briefly before, super sweet person, and the other night she came over (to my house) and listened to half of 25 songs I played her because she's still looking for songs for her new album," she said. "She was there clearly to listen to songs and see if there was anything she was into, it was a business meeting, for sure."
Sia also stated that Rihanna left with four of the songs after their meeting, but is not completely sure if any of them will end up on Anti.
This is not the first time Sia has written for Rihanna, she was the one who penned her extremely successful "Diamonds" back in 2012.
Hopefully Rihanna is closer to finishing her record than it sounds. With not much of 2015 left, here's to a new Rihanna album before 2016 is over.
