After an eight year hiatus and long-time battles with her previous record label, pop singer JoJo made her return to the music scene by announcing her impending new album, III and dropping a "tringle" or three singles, titled "Say Love," "When Love Hurts" and "Save My Soul." Now, the 24-year-old singer has decided to surprise fans with a holiday treat of their own by dropping a 4-track EP, #LoveJo2.

Last year, the "Too Little Too Late" singer released Valentine's Day LP #LoveJo, which featured "Intro," "Caught Up in the Rapture," "Take Me Home" and "Glory," which is now followed up by this year's #LoveJo2, MTV News notes. The new EP boasts an assortment of two new tracks "Right On Time" and "Thinkin Out Loud," "Back 2 Life," a cover of Soul II Soul's "1989 hit "Back to Life (However Do You Want Me)" and a mash-up of JoJo's own "When Love Hurts" with Mary J. Blige's 1992 What's The 411? track "Real Love."

The "Baby It's You" singer recently wrapped up her North American string of dates for the I Am JoJo Tour on her 25th birthday, Dec. 20 in New Orleans. Her forthcoming third studio album will see release with Atlantic next year, panic worthy information for long-awaiting JoJo fans who haven't seen a full length LP since 2006.

"I'm, like, 70 songs deep and I'm probably going to keep recording because I love being in the studio," JoJo recently told Billboard. "I know it's an uncertain time in music, but I still believe in albums. I love listening to body of work from an artist and really diving into their world that they wanted to invite us into."

III will embody a more house and electronic sound, something JoJo has found herself increasingly interested in over the years. The album will see collaborations from Sweden's The Family, Diane Warren, Benny Blanco, Jason Evigan and MNEK.
