Andrew Garfield just wrapped up his hosting gig on Saturday Night Live and premiered his highly anticipated sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man. But apparently he's also been collaborating with Arcade Fire on their "We Exist" music video.
A 22-second teaser clip was released over the weekend that features the actor walking nervously through a crowd while breathing heavily and wearing a blond wig, white dress and a pink painted eye mask. The audience chants, "We exist," and the footage is undercut with scenes of Garfield shaving his head in a mirror.
According to Billboard, the crowd scene was shot during Arcade Fire's Coachella set the second weekend of the festival last month. "The right to marry anyone you want is a human rights issue," Win Bulter told the crowd before playing the song. "We Exist," off the Arcade Fire's latest album Reflektor, is about a son coming out to his father.
