Meek Mill has had a rough year. Between his resounding loss to Drake in a highly publicized rap beef and the lack of faith fans seem to hold in his relationship with Nicki Minaj, Meek has faced an onslaught of criticism and shade this year. Thus, it's fairly reasonable to suspect that anyone even moderately tapped in to the Hip Hop world would inevitably hear about the various tribulations of the Philadelphia rapper. Even more reasonable, however, is the assumption that Minaj's ex-boyfriend and rapper Safaree Samuels has noticed Mill's fall from grace in the press and public eye as of late. However, according to Samuels, he has no idea who Meek Mill is, and is focusing purely on his own future musical output.

Speaking to Tim Westwood in an exclusive interview published on December 24th, Samuels was asked about his feelings regarding Meek Mill. After laughing at the "bad year" the rapper has had, Samuels went on to say, "I don't even know who that is. I don't know who that is. I been out here promo-ing and all I hear about is Safaree."

Westwood went on to ask Samuels about his relationship with ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj going forward. The two have exchanged harsh words this year, with Samuels rapping that he refused to be the "black K-Fed," a position he feels Mill is currently occupying.

However, Samuels told Westwood, "I'm not like a grudge-ful person you know what I'm saying. Whenever somebody can't reconcile and just be cool with it that means they still got a lot of feelings and they still not over it. I'm over it."

He says if he were to answer "no" to the question of whether or not he could reconcile and "be friends" with Nicki, it would indicate that he was trying to make the relationship work.
