Last October, the Migos announced their MigosThuggin mixtape with Young Thug, but it seems the project has been shelved for the time being. Offset explained the tape’s delay during a recent interview.

During a sit-down with DJ Vlad published on Monday (Jan. 18), Offset detailed the hold up, saying that 300 Entertainment CEO Lyor Cohen is holding the project back.

"Lyor froze it, man," he said. "We couldn't, we can't do it right now... That was gonna be a big project, too, but Lyor blocked the play. He ain't with it. He ain't stamp it. So we couldn't go through with it."

He also revealed that they have recorded about 30 songs for MigosThuggin and there are still plans to eventually release the tape.

Back in September, Migos took to Twitter to announce their departure from 300 Entertainment. Offset clarified that the group is currently signed to the label for distribution, but may be working to part ways.

"Litigators, they gotta work they're move," Offset said. "It's getting handled. Got some little litigators handling the business."

In September, it was also announced that the release of Young Thug’s debut album, Hy!£UN35, had been postponed. His supporting tour was delayed as well.

While fans may have to hold out a little while longer for MigosThuggin, YRN2 was dropped Monday on its scheduled release date. Migos are also currently prepping for their upcoming Dab tour. The tour will kick off the next month on Feb. 17 in San Francisco. The 15-date run will close out in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 15. They'll be joined by Jose Guapo, Rich The Kid and Skippa Da Flippa.
