Zayn Malik's debut album finally has a title. On Thursday (Jan. 28), the former One Direction member spoke to Zane Lowe on Apple Radio's Beats 1 channel and revealed that his solo album will be called Mind of Mine.

In the interview, Malik admitted that his forthcoming effort already has a title, and after just a little bit of prodding, he admitted that it was titled Mind of Mine. Malik's new record label RCA Records confirmed the title by retweeting a message from Beats 1.

While a lot of details about Malik's big debut remain a mystery, the rising solo star also admitted that he wrote around 47 or 48 songs for his record and that 17 or 18 will make the cut.

One song that is confirmed for Mind of Mine? "Pillow Talk." The album's lead single, which Malik announced earlier this week, is due to be released on Friday, Jan. 29, and a music video is set to follow. Malik also confirmed other titles in the interview, including "She," "Befour" and "Mind of Mine," a collaboration with Kehlani.

Reflecting the album's title and Malik's handiwork in creating Mind of Mine, the record is expected to fall in line with his R&B influences. In a recent feature with Billboard, Malik cited growing up with influences like R. Kelly and Usher, which will be heard in his music. The R&B vibes are also likely to be reflected in his production team. He's working with Frank Ocean's channel ORANGE producer James "Malay" Ho.

A release date for Mind of Mine has yet to be revealed, but the record is due for early spring.
