DJ Khaled continues to rack up the wins. The "Gold Slugs" artist will be back in his familiar zone starting this Friday hosting his very own We The Best Radio on Apple Music's Beats 1. To kick things off, Khaled is going big of course with a ground-breaking debut show where he will premiere Future's new album.
The show will air on Beats 1 every Friday at 5 pm PST / 8 p.m EST.
To make things even better, the trailer video is just about as legendary as the announcement itself. There are plenty of moments over the past few months that have seen Khaled sky-rocket into the status of celebrity, getting mobbed by fans at meet & greets and at shows. The catchphrases are everywhere as he channels his best Yoda impression for a show that will include passion, pain, success, more wins, world premieres, classics, new wave and the biggest interviews.
Not one to stray away from the superlative, Khaled promises that this "ground-breaking" show will be the biggest mix show you ever heard in your life.
Khaled got his start as a radio DJ in Miami. He became the most popular mix DJ in Southern Florida and eventually grew his brand into a performing DJ, A&R, producer (kind-of) and all around mogul. This is just the next step to cement his brand in bringing new music to the people on Apple Music's successful Beats 1 station.
We The Best TV will be available on Apple Music every other Friday.
This is the second major artist announcement for February on Beats 1. They also nabbed Skrillex to co-host an OWSLA radio show with some of his fellow label mates like Getter, Mija and Ghastly.
