Charli XCX is getting in to the record label game. After shocking the pop world with her sophomore album Sucker, on Tuesday (Feb. 23), the "Same Old Love" songwriter announced her latest musical venture, Vroom Vroom Recordings, a subsidiary of Atlantic Records UK. But that's not the only thing kicking in to gear for XCX. Along with Vroom Vroom Recordings, she announced a four-song EP for release on Friday (Feb. 16), fittingly titled Vroom Vroom EP.

Described by XCX as a "new experimental pop label" that will blend together "bubblegum pop with mystery and darkness," Vroom Vroom Recordings already has its first two acts, synth pop duo RIVRS and singer-songwriter CuckooLander.

"RIVRS and CuckooLander are two artists who have so much intelligence, pop sensibility and potential - they know what they want and both have great vision. That inspires me and it's why I want to work with them. I've always been fascinated by shy and introvert people - it's something that I am mostly not - and I feel both acts are in ways. It captivates me and sucks me in, and I think their music will do the same for others," XCX said in a statement.

Of course, XCX is releasing her own new music through Vroom Vroom Recordings, starting with the Vroom Vroom EP this week. Featuring four new songs, XCX described her new music as "beautiful party songs." XCX will lead this week's EP with a new song "Trophy," set to premiere on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show tonight.

 'Vroom Vroom EP' Tracklisting:

 01. Vroom Vroom
02. Paradise ft. Hannah Diamond
03. Trophy
04. Secret (Shh)

XCX will then follow the release of the Vroom Vroom EP with her third studio album, set for release later this year.
