As Christina Aguilera returns to this season of The Voice, she expressed her intention to be the coach of the Season 10 winner. In the March 1 episode for the blind auditions, Aguilera gives a contestant a kiss after telling her to "make out" with her.

Country singer Kata Hay came for the blind audition singing a rendition of “Redneck Woman" which made Aguilera, Pharrell Williams, and Adam Levine turn for her. The judges were surprised when the high-spirited contestant immediately ran to Levine to hug him and kiss him on the cheek. Williams stood in shock while watching the scene but he was actually up for a more shocking moment, Gossip Cop reported.

After Hay hugged the other judges, Aguilera said, “You gotta love me, too!” She also told Blake Shelton that she used to sing with him at the Oklahoma Opry. Hay's energy made everyone laugh especially when she addressed Aguilera telling her, “You were my official first girl crush.”

With that, Aguilera responded, “Should we just make out now? Because I was your first crush. Let’s just get it over with, so we can get to work.”

Without hesitation, Hay walked up to the "Genie in a Bottle" singer to share a smooch on the lips, leaving the guys shocked. Williams even slapped his own face, saying that he must be dreaming because of what happened. It looked like Aguilera's kiss carried the magic because Hay picked her team.

In Aguilera's return to The Voice, she wants to break the "girl curse" since no one has ever won from a female coach's team. She even revealed that she rooted for Gwen Stefani, who will be back as a mentor.

“When Gwen come on, I remember telling her… it was at, I think, Zuma’s birthday party. I was like, ‘Just do me one favor when you go in.’ I think was, like, eight months pregnant… I was like, ‘Please, like, give the boys hell. Break the girl curse.’ And it still hasn’t been done yet, so I’m really… I know she’s rooting me on to come try and fix that,” Aguilera said according to Hollywood Life.

She even told Shelton that she is going to get Stefani to take her side against all the guys for "girl power.”
