Rapper Lil Wayne just premiered a new collaborative album with 2 Chainz entitled ColleGrove. So what's next for the YMCMB superstar? Rich Homie Quan recently confirmed that Weezy's now working as executive producer (alongside Ryan Leslie) on his own highly-anticipated debut record, Rich As In Spirit.

While the release date still remains unconfirmed, Quan insists that fans can expect an epic mixtape sometime this March before the official album drop:

“Just to let the fans know I haven’t lost it and let them know I’m still working every day. Working even harder," the "Type of Way" emcee said in an interview with the UK's Acton Entertainment. "And this mixtape is gonna sound like an album.”

Quan also reveals that while Wayne works hard in the studio, he often takes breaks to pursue his other passion - skateboarding. As for what he's learned from Cash Money Records mogul, Birdman:

“Keep your circle small. Never stop recording. And believe in yourself" (via XXL Mag).

During the same talk, Quan admits this about his 2015 hit single, “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” -

"It wasn’t my favorite. My best may not be your favorite song. It’s what the people want. And I can’t run away from what the people want.”

Tunechi's definitely keeping busy throughout the hip-hop industry. Earlier this week, the New Orleans native made this exciting announcement on the new live-streaming platform called LiVideo:

"Right now I'm on the studio bus, I'm working on a feature song for Chance The Rapper, shout out Chance The Rapper."

Meanwhile, ColleGrove continues going viral online, with awesome production from Mike Will Made It, TM88, Mannie Fresh, Lil C, Metro Boomin, London on da Track, and many more. Stream the full album here.
