In case you happened to forget, Dolly Parton is Miley Cyrus's godmother. And, in what may have been a slip of the tongue in a new interview, the "Jolene" singer officially confirmed what many fans thought to be true: her goddaughter and ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth are officially dating again.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Parton was sneakily asked about Cyrus and Hemsworth's engagement, and she only had gushing things to say.
"She's a talent; she's deep; she's smart and sensitive. She's gone through a lot and been put through a lot and put herself through a lot," she said. When specifically asked whether or not she likes Cyrus and Hemsworth together, Parton enthusiastically said, "Yes I do. I was really happy to hear they had gotten back together.
What Parton did not confirm, however, are the rumors that Cyrus and Hemsworth are engaged again.
Rumors first started flying that Cyrus and Hemsworth had reconnected in January, after Cyrus was spotted spending the holiday season with the Hemsworth family in Australia, and the two were getting notably closer.
Just a few weeks after their joint vacation, Cyrus was spotted wearing her old Neil Lane engagement ring again on her left ring finger, causing fans to speculate that they were more committed than simply dating together. Cyrus has also reportedly moved into Hemsworth's Los Angeles home.

Cyrus and Hemsworth first started dating in 2010 after filming the Nicholas Sparks movie The Last Song together. They got engaged in June 2012 and broke things off in fall 2013.
