For her next project, Rihanna is taking a break from turning heads in that see-through dress (and TWERKING in it) to move her career in a different direction. In this newest venture, the artist lends her voice to a character in the upcoming animated Dreamworks feature film, Home.

Reported by Variety, the film stars Rih alongside The Big Bang Theory lead Jim Parsons, and follows the adventures of Tip (voiced by Rihanna) as she teams up with an alien by the name of Oh (Parsons) to save the world.

As if the movie hasn't delivered an A-List cast already, Jennifer Lopez and famed comedian/actor Steve Martin are also making an appearance. Lopez will play Tip's mother and Martin will voice the leader of the Boov, Oh's alien race.

Home is taken from the well-known novel The True Meaning of Smekday, written by author Adam Rex, and will be released nationwide on March 27, 2015.

Word has it that Home has seen generally positive reviews.

We're not positive, but our guess is no racy Twitter pics are going to come from this one. At least, we hope. For the kids' sake, of course.

The film is a complete turn from what we've seen Rihanna do in the past, but fans remain both eager and optimistic to see if this is just another project the artist can sink her teeth into and come out triumphant. Given the reviews, it appears safe to say that she's done it again.
