Despite his legal woes, you just can't knock 50 Cent's hustler spirit, proving he's more than just a rapper. The actor, producer, and entrepreneur nabbed a deal with A&E Network to develop a new variety series called 50 Cent Presents. He will act as host and executive producer of the show.

50 is looking to put an entirely new spin on the types of variety shows he'd watch as a kid. The potential forthcoming showcase series is expected to feature a combination of reality experiments, sketches, stand-up comedy, celebrity guest appearances, magic, and of course, music. "I grew up watching variety shows and am excited to put my own spin on the format," Jackson said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "I hope everyone is ready to bring their talent forward, I want to show the world the best of the best."

50 Cent Presents (the title's still a work in progress) is produced by Back Roads Entertainment, a company overseen by Colby Gaines. Stephen J. Savva, of the 40-year-old New York native's G-Unit Film & Television's, will also act as executive producer alongside A&E's head of programming, Elaine Frontain Bryant, Brad Holcman and Sean Gottlieb.

The "I Get Money" rapper is no stranger to the small screen. Striking up an overall deal with Starz, 50 spent three successful seasons executive producing and starring in the series drama, Power. Season three of Power is scheduled to premiere in the summer.

"Leaning into A&E's legacy in showcasing the arts, we're setting out to redefine the traditional variety show," Frontain Bryant said. "50 Cent is the perfect partner to refresh this classic format. He is a true tastemaker across industries and we are excited to see his impressive showcase of talent."
