Of all her shows, her concert at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo is the top-grossing venue earning $9.6 million for sold out shows on Feb. 13 and 14. Meanwhile, the top box office counts for the North American markets are at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sept. 16 and 17 with $5.2 million sales.

The singer ranks third in the list of the all-time top-grossing Billboard Boxscore tailing behind the Rolling Stones with $1.84 billion sales and U2 with $1.67 billion sales, Times Live reported. Madonna had lost this title in 2012 and 2014 to Bruce Springsteen but managed to snag it back this year.

Since 1990, the "Dress You Up" singer is the only woman to get into the mark and is one of the six artists who surpassed $1 billion earnings in a tour, which includes Elton John with $1.05 billion and Bon Jovi with $1.03 billion as of March 23, 2016.

The first reported tour of Madonna to the Billboard Boxscore is her Blond Ambition World Tour in 1990 and became part of the billion-dollar chart in 2012 with the conclusion of her MDNA Tour which resulted into overall ticket sales of $1.14 billion.

For 12 years, the "Material Girl" singer has been named as the highest-grossing female touring artist when she first got the title in 2004 for the wrap of her Re-Invention World Tour and remained as the top female concert star up to this day.
