After rumors claiming that she and Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill had called it quits, Nicki Minaj took to Instagram to clear things up. As the Queens rapper claims, she is "not single," and apparently still romantically tied to Meek Mill.

Speculation about their split began yesterday morning during Nicki's appearance on The Ellen Show. Ellen DeGeneres posed a question to the Queen of Rap regarding the rings on the superstar's hands. Ellen was inquiring whether or not any of these pieces were an engagement ring from her current boyfriend. Nicki responded with a poignant take on romantic labels imposed upon many by certain social stigmas.
"First of all, that's not an engagement ring," Minaj said. "I have two rings from this boy that likes me ... He said that that's my second ring. And that if I get a third ring that (sic) that would be the engagement ring ... We're still figuring each other out. And in fact, I don't even wanna say I'm in a relationship anymore cause I think that when people hear that they go to like the mean place."
Minaj also addressed rumors that she and Mill broke up based on public reaction to her social media presence on Valentine's Day.
After neglecting to post a gift given to her by Mill on Instagram, Minaj's fans assumed the two had split. Regardin this rumor, the rapper said, "For instance, Valentine's Day passed and I didn't put up my Valentine's Day gift on Instagram, and people said 'They're not together.' And we were getting anonymous messages saying, 'Yeah, she wasn't with him and she was crying all day' ... Meanwhile, we were really in bed all day on Valentine's Day. Like, seriously. We were in bed all day and then I got up and opened these three, amazing gifts. And then I went back to bed. And then I read this story that we weren't together on Valentine's Day ... So, now I don't really care to say 'I'm in a relationship' or 'I'm engaged' or whatever. There's a boy that likes me. That's all."
