Pharrell and Pitbull will be amongst the 30 celebrities scheduled to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2015. Also on the bill is Anchorman lead Will Ferrell and Bridesmaids' own Melissa McCarthy.

Looks like Pharrell and Pitbull just got a little more... "Happy." Sorry, had to! Don't judge.

The Walk of Fame Committee recently shared the full list of honorees with the public, breaking each artist down into various categories: music, television, radio, live performance and film.

Pharrell and Pitbull, both of whom have had exceptionally successful years (and careers), are on the bill alongside funk's own Kool & the Gang, producer-engineer Al Schmitt (Frank Sinatra, Jefferson Airplane and Neil Young) and producer Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, who has worked with the likes of Pink, Ke$ha and Katy Perry.

Maureen Schultz, Chair of the Walk of Fame, recently released a statement saying, "We know that the new selections represent the best of the entertainment industry and will be a great addition to the Walk of Fame for both the Hollywood community and fans from around the world who visit Hollywood every year."

Even today, getting a star on Hollywood Boulevard is an incredibly huge deal, and quite an honor, despite however seedy and rundown the street may actually be. Regardless, the news comes as exciting and monumental for both performers, and proves just how powerful an impact the two are having on the music industry.

Hopefully their stars are in desirable locations on the boulevard and won't be a stomping ground for Captain Jack Sparrow look-alikes.
