Pink can perform while hanging from the ceiling during the Billboard Music Awards but she is totally flustered when she met her celebrity crush Johnny Depp during one of the episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Although the 36-year-old songstress has been married to Carey Hart since 2006, she can't stop gushing over her celebrity crushes Depp and Michael Keaton. During her appearance to the show, she shared one incident wherein she was out shopping with her husband when they saw Depp in a record store. Instead of approaching the star, Pink hid behind the records, Pop Sugar reported.
"I didn't want to meet him. My husband made me meet him, which was so dumb," she said according to E! Online. "I was hiding behind records in a record store and I was like, 'Don't do this. I don't want to meet him.'"
She was then forced to meet him and start a conversation about the film Alice Through the Looking Glass for which Depp is an actor while Pink sings the soundtrack "Just Like Fire." But Depp thought Pink was referring to the rock star Alice Cooper. That is why Pink concluded that it didn't go well.
What Pink didn't know is that Kimmel invited Depp to come to the show to surprise her. Just as her anecdote, she couldn't find the words to say upon seeing Depp but welcomed him with a hug. There was even a hilarious moment when the Pirates of the Caribbean star kissed Kimmel on the lips before he left the stage.
Pink was blushing when Depp left and said, "Go away. That was awful. That sucks. I hate you. I hate you."
"You just turned the color of your hair," Kimmel said referring to her pink locks.
"This is the worst day ever," Pink proclaimed while the audience burst into laughter.
