At least four people were shot at rapper T.I.'s concert last night at New York's Irving Plaza.

The shooting transpired around 10 p.m. ET. One man was reportedly killed; three others remain wounded. CBS New York disclosed that the deceased was a 34-year-old man shot in the chest.

The injured victims were listed as another 34-year-old man shot in the abdomen, still in critical condition, and a 26-year-old woman shot in the leg. New York rapper Troy Ave also apparently sustained a gunshot to the leg, walking in to NYU Langone Medical Center with the wound.

Amid the ensuing chaos, concertgoer Heather Hallock told Rolling Stone that "people were falling down the stairs. [...] There was a large woman who fell at the bottom of the stairs and people were running over her. We ran outside and across the street and waited there for the rest of our group. Ambulances started pulling up. They were pulling out 3, 4, 5 gurneys."

This is not the first time T.I. has been affected by a shooting. In 2006, the performer's friend and personal assistant, Philant Johnson, was gunned down at a Cincinnati nightclub. T.I. was greatly sorrowed by his companion's death, and it prompted him to reconsider his career.

As covered by MTV, T.I. delivered a mournful eulogy at Johnson's funeral in their home state of Georgia. Stammering to speak, the artist spoke to his feeling of responsibility for friends and family:

"One of the worst parts is, at the end of the day, I'm responsible for everybody. Everybody entrusts their husbands, their sons, their daughters, their brothers, cousins, their best friends -- everybody entrusts them to me. And it is my responsibility to ensure their safety and their safe return. And this is one time that I could not do that."

Police are reviewing ballistic evidence and video surveillance from last night's crime scene at Irving Plaza. No arrests have yet been made in the case.
