A graffiti artist in Melbourne, Australia, has created a giant mural memorializing Taylor Swift. However, the controversial artwork, which basically jokes about the death of the pop star, has a serious spelling error.

The mural, which was made by an artist named Lushsux, was painted on the side of a building at Melbourne's Cremorne suburb. In features a realistic portrait of Swift and the words "In Loving Memory of."

However, when it came to scribbling the singer's name, Lushsux made a serious mistake. Instead of Taylor Swift, the artist wrote Taylor Smith. According to Daily Mail, the artist admitted that the typo was an unintentional error. Still, this didn't stop the artist from asking Instagram users to visit the mural and pay tribute to the artist.

In various photos taken from the site, it can be seen that some visitors even brought flowers and candles. There's also a photo showing a visitor kneeling and presumably praying in front of the mural.

It is not yet clear what prompted Lushsux to create the mural of Swift but the artist has been known for making controversial artworks featuring celebrities. Earlier in March, the artist also created a giant painting of an unclothed Kim Kardashian West on the wall of a building in Melbourne, which was based on the controversial selfie that the reality television star posted on her Instagram account.

"When I saw the original selfie posted by Kim Kardashian I couldn't help myself," Lushsux told ET. "I just had to paint it [30 feet] high. Perhaps I'm a little bit of an attention seeker, much like Kim."

Aside from the painting of Kardashian, Lushsux also made a large illustration of Donald Trump's floating head on a nearby building.
