International athletic brand Nike teamed up with Chance the Rapper to release a new video and song for the USA basketball men and women's teams currently competing at the 2016 Rio Olympics. The video titled "Unlimited Together," features various members of the national teams such as Kyrie Irving, DeMarcus Cousins, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Elena Delle Donne, Tamika Catchings, Diana Taurasi and Brittney Griner.

According to Nike, the video, which debuted on YouTube on Aug. 10, was helmed by acclaimed Japanese director Hiro Murai. The clip, which has black and white effects, mainly features Chance the Rapper performing his original lyrics along with images of the athletes.

For the song, Chance the Rapper turns to his signature melodic style mixed with spoken word-type of rapping. This all blends well with the soft background music provided by a piano.

As noted by Nike, the central message of the song and the video is unity. This is shown through the images featuring the American flag and the athletes wearing the same uniform combined with the repetition of the line "We the people," Esquire reported.

"Nike heralds the strength of unity and power of team with "Unlimited Together," a film featuring original lyrics from Chicago-born artist Chance the Rapper," Nike said in a statement. "The film celebrates how the USA Basketball men's and women's teams' individual strengths are amplified when unified in pursuit of a common goal."

"Unlimited Together" is the latest installment from Nike's Unlimited Campaign. The company's other short films include Unlimited Future, Unlimited Courage and Unlimited You.

As for Chance the Rapper, his recent work with Nike is not the first time he wrote a sports-related song. According to Business Insider, he performed at the ESPY Awards last month to pay tribute to Muhammad Ali.
